Shakespeare's Royal Variety

3 - 5 June / Jubillee Bank Holiday Weekend 2022

What better way to celebrate the Queens jubilee, with this quintessentially British experience. Enjoying a picnic with some open air Shakespeare.

Suitable for all the family. Includes live music.

Shakespeare’s most famous royal personalities and plotlines are combined into a brand new extravaganza.

In this story, as we celebrate The King’s jubilee we get an intriguing insight into the Royal Household itself…

Will eldest heir to the throne, Prince Hamlet, commit to taking over from his father? Or will he decide to abdicate and marry his true love- the royal household chamber maid.

Will middle child Beatrice realise her love for long-term rival Benedick?

What will happen to youngest Rebel Princess Rosalind when she runs away with her cousin Celia to escape the confines of the palace walls?

And what happens when the royal staff try to organise a performance to celebrate the Kings Jubilee?

This re-imagining includes all your favourite Shakespeare characters, quotes and moments.
